After a tough season on the field for the Ramblas, the end of season awards night gave everyone a chance to let their hair down and reflect on all the positives.
And once hair was let down, it was then being pulled out as Chris Thomas’ quiz flummoxed all and sundry. Steven Fitch once again found himself in the winning team at the quiz, much to his fellow Ramblas chagrin.

Once the quiz was finished, it was down to the serious business of the Ramblas awards and you can see all the winners below:
PLAYERS’ PLAYER // Sam Ford
Amazingly for one of our leading performers, this was Sam’s first player’s player award, but with three fifties, a century and captaining the side on multiple occasion’s this season he was a more than a worthy winner.
SKIPPER’S PLAYER // Ed Gibbs
Already part of Ramblas folkore with his hat-trick on debut last season, Ed became a key part of the bowling attack in his second season. And his passion and energy levels in the field were always in evidence throughout the year.
FAN’S PLAYER // Mark Loughlin
Another season, another award for Mark, who claims the fan’s player of the year award for the first time. One of the clubs most consistent performers, Mark once again contributed with both bat and ball and finally claimed his maiden six-fer.
CLUBMAN OF THE YEAR // Lucy Brewer
When it comes to the off field activities, you can be sure Lucy is involved; From the occasional baked treat for tea, to being the team photographer/first aider, to providing live match updates in the WhatsApp group. And she even captained the winning team in the inaugural Ramblas family day.
